More than half of Coretronic’s 3,500 employees are devoted to
manufacturing. Coretronic’s main manufacturing facilities are located in:
Hsinchu Science Industrial Park – ChuNan Base, Coretronic Headquarter built in
2003, covers 486,000 square feet of floor space and focuses on LCD Backlight
modules and video products manufacturing.
Hsinchu Science Industrial Park, covers 360,000 square feet of floor space and
specialize in front projectors and optical engine & component.
Southern Taiwan Science Industrial Park, covers 252,000 square feet of floor
space and specialize in LCD Backlight Module.
Huko Industrial Park focuses on LGP injection, cutting and printing.
In early 2000, the company also began establishing manufacturing facilities in
China. They are located in:
KunShan Industrial Park, Administration Center, Factory I II III and IV (will
be built in the end of 2004) cover 160,000, 60,000, 132,000,163,000, 350,000
square feet of floor space respectively.
Suzhou Industrial Park, Coretronic’s factory covers 360,000 square feet of
floor space and specializes in LCD backlight modules.
Pursuing a rapid China expansion strategy, Coretronic is gradually shifting its
mature business for manufacturing in China, while maintaining the core R&D
and innovation products in Taiwan. By expanding manufacturing facility in
China, Coretronic wishes to achieve cost saving through synergies in clean room
process, in-house transportation and lower labor costs.
