CiRC Showcases 100% Taiwan-Made “HVTOL Long-Range UAV” at XPONENTIAL 2025
Coretronic Intelligent Robotics Corporation (CiRC), a subsidiary of Coretronic Corporation (5371.TW), will present its latest breakthrough in unmanned systems—the Hybrid Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HVTOL) long-range unmanned aircraft—at XPONENTIAL 2025, the world’s premier annual expo for uncrewed systems and autonomous technologies, to be held from May 19 to 22 in Houston, Texas. Exhibiting under the theme “Smart Drone & Trusted Partner,” CiRC will showcase its fully self-developed and manufactured HVTOL platform at Booth 2005, highlighting Taiwan’s R&D capability and international competitiveness in high-performance unmanned systems.
Designed for defense security, border patrol, environmental monitoring, and advanced logistics missions, CiRC’s new HVTOL platform combines the long-endurance performance of fixed-wing aircraft with the vertical takeoff and landing versatility of multirotors. The platform offers the following key performance features:
CiRC has committed to advancing its portfolio of high-performance unmanned platforms. In partnership with Teledyne FLIR, CiRC previously launched an NDAA-compliant multirotor drone that has been successfully deployed in public safety and industrial markets across North America. In addition, the Hummer 2 NDAA model, unveiled at XPONENTIAL 2024 in San Diego, has become a market success. Equipped with the Qualcomm RB5 processor and FLIR Boson thermal module, Hummer 2 is offered through OEM partnership programs in the Americas, with active expansion into European markets.
As the U.S. and Europe increasingly prioritize autonomous aerial platforms and democratic, secure supply chain policies, Taiwan’s unmanned-aircraft ecosystem is entering a new era of opportunity. CiRC will continue to enhance its R&D capabilities and expand global engagement through international exhibitions and strategic partnerships, driving Taiwan’s UAV technologies into global high-end applications and reinforcing its role as a leading provider of next-generation intelligent unmanned solutions.
