Coretronic MEMS Corporation Launches a New “Water-resistant Pressure Sensor” and Enters the Smart Wearable Market.

The subsidiary of Coretronic (5371)- Coretronic MEMS Corporation (CMC) successfully mass-produced and shipped the automotive Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) for OE market in the fourth quarter of 2023. Recently, it has made a successful foray into the consumer wearable market, enhancing the user experience of wearable products by applying automotive expertise and rigorous design. To cater to the applications of smart wearables, including smartwatches, sports watches, and bracelets, CMC has introduced a 10ATM water-resistant pressure sensor (CMP202) with the ultra-low power consumption, ultra-low noise, and an ultra-compact design. This sensor allows real-time monitoring of environmental information such as altitude and water depth, meeting the demands of outdoor sports enthusiasts engaged in activities like hiking, swimming, and diving for smart wearable products.
