Fulfill Kids' Dreams on Children's Day in 2023
"Children's Day is the most anticipated holiday for kids throughout the year. For nine consecutive years, Coretronic, who has been devoted to caring for children in remote areas, has organized the "Fulfill Kids' Dreams on Children's Day" charity event on the eve of Children's Day. Through a variety of cultural and artistic activities and donations of supplies, we hope to join hands with children in rural areas to fulfill their dreams."
This year, we have finally glimpsed the dawn emerging from the shadows of the pandemic. Once again collaborating with the Club Bing Beng, we introduced the intriguing 'X-Lamp Workshop' to rural elementary schools in Hsinchu. From March 20th to March 22nd, we held five sessions of the "X-Lamp Workshop" for a total of 243 students from Yushan Elementary School, Jinshan Elementary School, Rueifong Elementary School, Lufong Elementary School, and Huayuan Elementary School. In addition to learning about the principles of optics and understanding the three primary colors of light, the children engaged in freeform creation and design of their own X-lamps. Through this process, they contemplated and experimented with the relationship between light and color, ultimately crafting unique Children's Day gifts, X-lamps. Each participant also received a delicious can of popcorn. Our hope is that through this unrestricted creative process, children can enhance their independent thinking and creative abilities, while exploring and uncovering their unseen potential.
