CiLS Leads the New Future of 3PL Warehousing and Logistics

The Coretronic (5371.TW) subsidiary, Coretronic Intelligent Logistics Solutions (CiLS), will unveil the “AI Smart New Technology Handling Solution” tailored for the Third-Party Logistics (3PL) industry at the “Automation Taipei 2025”. The Company will fully reproduce the practical scenarios of warehouse logistics automation, demonstrating the instant deployment and flexible scalability capabilities of its smart warehouse solutions.

At the exhibition, CiLS will showcase several innovative technologies, including its self-developed SmartMove Intelligent Handling System, AI Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), and high-reach capacity AMR forklifts. These technologies comprehensively address high-level access and high-density racking operations, supporting flexible storage layout and natural stacking strategies in logistics warehouses. This fully realizes the high speed, flexibility, and precision of logistics operations. The exhibition will feature a real-world simulation of 3PL automated operations, deeply resonating with the urgent smart transformation needs of the 3PL industry, AI server supply chains, and electronics manufacturing sectors. The solution will also integrate Techman Robot’s AI collaborative arms to complete the “Goods-to-Person” automated picking process.

On-Site Demonstration and Daily 3PL Scenarios Presentation
Facing challenges such as increased warehouse density, diversified demands, rising manpower costs, and higher error risks, CiLS will provide a real-world demonstration at the venue showing how the SmartMove Intelligent Handling System, combined with AMRs interfacing with push-back and mobile high-density racks, achieves maximum utilization of warehouse space and comprehensive optimization of operational processes. Key highlights include:
  • High-Level Automated Handling: AMR high-reach forklifts can precisely retrieve and place goods on high-level racks, reducing the risk of manual operations.
  • Flexible Storage Planning: Simulates logistics peak periods by automatically setting up floor storage locations, flexibly responding to changes in space and workload.
  • Dynamic Inventory Response: The AMR system responds instantly to retrieval, replenishment, and change tasks, dynamically adjusting the inventory.
  • Autonomous Distribution and Picking: AMR-handling vehicles travel between racks to transport cartons and integrate with automatic equipment, such as robotic arms and conveyors, to complete automated picking and shipping.
  • Real-time Task Scheduling: The SmartMove handling system plans optimized routes and vehicle dispatch priorities, enhancing on-site operational smoothness.

AI-driven Optimization of Overall Logistics Efficiency
To precisely meet the high-density, high-variability, and diverse carrier challenges in warehousing, CiLS has incorporated multiple AI smart technologies to comprehensively enhance the precision, flexibility, and safety of warehouse operations. To address the common issue of inconsistent pallet specifications in logistics warehouses, an AI vision recognition system was introduced to instantly identify pallet types. This is combined with fork side-shifting functionality to effectively correct positioning deviations caused by rack skewing or uneven ground, significantly improving overall operational performance and safety. Key AI technologies include:
  • AI Semantic Recognition and Calibration: Precisely identifies the operating environment, storage location information, and different types of pallets and goods, thus improving object recognition efficiency.
  • Integrated Fork Side-Shifting Technology: Equipped with a fork module capable of lateral micro-adjustment, it helps to accurately retrieve and place various types of pallets or skewed goods, enhancing handling accuracy.
  • Visual Positioning and Compensation: Interprets the position and height of the goods, adapting to multiple rack types.
  • Prediction and Error-Proofing Mechanism: Identifies the flatness of goods stacking and the condition of storage locations, improving safety and accuracy.
  • Intelligent Scheduling Strategy: Responds to the high inbound/outbound demands of 3PL with real-time dynamic scheduling and dispatch, boosting the overall operational performance.

Integrating Hardware, Software, and Services to Build Complete Smart Handling
CiLS focuses on core AMR technology R&D, integrating hardware, software, and services to provide a one-stop smart handling solution. The hardware covers unmanned AMR handling vehicles and forklifts. The software is centered on the SmartMove system, which coordinates fleet and task management, peripheral equipment collaboration, and seamlessly integrates with WMS, ERP, MES, and other systems, helping enterprises build a comprehensive smart logistics environment.
The solution is currently widely applied in high-tech industries, such as the semiconductor supply chain, AI server manufacturing, and precision processing. In the future, the focus will be further placed on third-party logistics providers, e-commerce platforms, and high-intensity handling industries, providing smart logistics solutions that are quick to deploy, flexibly scalable, and immediately operational. This will accelerate the enterprise realization of warehouse automation, significantly improve operational efficiency, and effectively reduce error rates and manpower costs.
