2025 World Earth Day, protect the earth and create sustainability together!

Global warming is intensifying, and net-zero emissions have become a shared vision and core action for the international community, driving businesses to comprehensively assess their climate resilience. The 2024 Earth Day theme is “Planet vs. Plastics,” urging people worldwide to unite and end the harm caused by plastic pollution to the Earth and all living beings. Chunghwa Picture Tubes has participated in the “Climate Emergency Declaration” initiative launched by social enterprises Green Vine Bio, the Taiwan Environmental Information Association, and the B Corporation Association for five consecutive years, organizing activities such as “Environmental Protection Exchange” and “Earth Hour.” inviting employees and their families from Taiwan and mainland China, 115 suppliers, and seven local elementary schools—totaling 15,176 people—to take more proactive and concrete actions to implement environmental protection concepts, expand green influence, safeguard our shared future, and gradually achieve net-zero goals.
