CRI Unveils Mission-Critical Agentic AI Edge Solutions at Embedded World 2026, Building the Foundation for Autonomous Intelligence

Agentic AI is accelerating edge computing into the era of autonomous decision-making. As AI evolves from isolated inference engines into intelligent agents capable of task understanding, multimodal perception, and action planning, edge devices are transforming from passive executors into proactive decision-makers. At Embedded World 2026, Coretronic Reality Inc. (CRI), a subsidiary of Coretronic Group, will introduce its Mission-Critical Agentic AI Edge Solutions and showcase turnkey systems built on Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.’s Dragonwing™ platforms, delivering a scalable and deployable edge intelligence infrastructure for enterprise applications.

Built on the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ Q6 processor series, CRI has established a unified multi-operating system architecture supporting Ubuntu, Qualcomm Linux, Android, and Windows 11 IoT. This enables Agentic AI, Generative AI, and Narrow AI workloads to operate and scale efficiently on a common hardware platform. Through platform-level resource orchestration and compute optimization, enterprises can rapidly deploy AI applications across systems, realizing true edge infrastructure capability.

A key highlight of the exhibition is CRI’s AI NVR solution built on the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ IQ9 platform. Integrated with Vision Language Model (VLM) capabilities, the system enables semantic search, event summarization, and conversational queries, transforming traditional surveillance recorders into context-aware intelligent security platforms.

The IQ9 AI NVR is built upon CRI’s custom-designed IQ9 AI Box, engineered with aerospace-grade mechanical and environmental design principles. The enclosure and structural design align with international avionics environmental standards such as RTCA DO-160 test categories, enhancing vibration resistance, shock tolerance, temperature endurance, and salt fog resilience. EMI/EMC shielding and grounding integrity are optimized to ensure long-term stable operation in high-interference and mission-critical outdoor environments. This robust design extends deployment into smart cities, UAV ground systems, and critical infrastructure scenarios. CRI is currently collaborating with Middle East customers to develop Agentic AI–enabled fully autonomous unmanned vehicle systems and Agentic AI smart city deployment solutions based on the IQ9 platform, and will present the integrated solution concept at the exhibition.

CRI also demonstrates an Agentic AI proof-of-concept for UAV flight control, validating autonomous task planning and real-time decision-making at the edge. In addition, a Narrow AI real-time detection solution based on the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ QRB2210 platform supports up to 30 FPS visual inference for industrial automation and high-speed inspection environments.

Through its unified platform methodology and cross-operating-system Software Abstraction Layer, CRI enables AI models, task logic, and application frameworks to be ported and reused across systems, significantly reducing integration risk and development barriers. The turnkey architecture provides an end-to-end pipeline from model deployment to scalable productization.
