Coretronic (5371.TW), a standout in the optoelectronic industry, has once again been named among Clarivate’s Top 100 Global Innovators™ 2025 and ranked 78th in the world, representing an improvement of two positions compared to 2024. Clarivate, a leading provider of global transformative intelligence, selects and recognizes the world’s leading organizations driving technological achievement, and announces the world's top 100 innovative institutions annually. In 2025, a total 13 Taiwanese enterprises made the list, with Coretronic being named for the second consecutive year—bringing honor to Taiwan.

Since 1992, the Company has expanded and extended its core strengths in optics, mechanics, electronics, thermal design, and software, to various group products, including intelligent display and unmanned aerial vehicle. Moreover, to achieve its 2050 net-zero targets and reduce the impact on the environment, Coretronic has embedded low-carbon principles into its product development technologies and manufacturing process. The Company has established clear strategies and quantitative targets for each stage of the product life cycle, built the product carbon footprint inventory platform, and conducted the product carbon footprint inventory to analyze emission structures. It also integrates patent innovation strategies with operating targets, dynamically adjusts patent applications and strategies based on the product roadmaps and corporate policies. Moreover, to select patent proposals that meet the Company’s application criteria and protect the Group’s technologies, the intellectual property department from HQ collaborates with business units to conduct patent quality checks, evaluate patent proposals using multiple factors, and conduct regular evaluations to approve patent value and to plan patent portfolios for different product lines strategically. To date, the Group has over 3,000 granted patents and more than 1,000 pending patents across Taiwan, the United States, China, Europe, Japan, and South Korea.”
